Song of the Witches

Double, double toil and trouble;

Fire burn and caldron bubble.

What to put in witches’ brew?

Many things to make a stew:

Whiskers from two sassy cats,

Skin-stretched wings from vampire bats,

Toenails from a long-eared hare,

Tusks snatched from a wild boar’s lair,

Yellow jacket stingers, too.

Let them simmer, through and through.

For a charm of powerful trouble,

Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

Double, double toil and trouble;

Fire burn and caldron bubble.

Cool it with a cube of ice,

Then the charm will well suffice.
