About

penned by Lex Besecker

Welcome to my mind! It is a place full of ideas, dreams, and goals. Somehow, someway, I have taken the world inside my head and have turned it into something readable: this blog, Pomegranate Seeds.

On this website, you will find the papers I have written on the Middle East, multiple graphic design projects I have completed over the years, the poetry I have penned, and my personal blog. I hope these different parts give you an idea of who I am as a multifaceted person.

A small town girl from Ohio now living in Texas, I am currently studying at Hofstra University on Long Island, double majoring in English/Publishing Studies and Political Science with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. My hobbies include writing for my blog, reading, listening to music and podcasts, and enjoying movies and TV shows.

My ultimate career goal is to combine both my love of words and my love of the Middle East—this blog is just one step of many towards that goal.

You can find me on LinkedIn here, or you can contact me directly at pomegranate.seeds.blog@gmail.com.

I look forward to hearing from you! And don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter below!
